The video below demonstrates the flip key shell conversion processes from start to finish

NOTE:  Use Caution when handling flip mechanism as it is very difficult to reassemble once it is taken apart (and the spring is removed).  There is no need to disassemble the button and/or spring from the flip mechanism.

HINT:  In the event that you inadvertently disassemble the flip mechanism, this video demonstrates the process to put it back together.

NOTE:  SOME VERSIONS COME WITH AN ALTERNATE SPRING MECHANISM.   For this version, please watch the video below for instructionson how to retention the SPRING MECHANISM so that the spring flips out.  This is not a Ford remote however the spring tension procedure is identical.
